Hi Christian

A very beautiful composition with this fungus "hanging on" to this beautiful tree. The colors of the fungi but especially the ones of the tree are very beatiful and the DOF is excellent.
Very nicely framed and exposed.

Bravo and TFS

Hi Christian,
Great composition with superb clarity. The details and light are wonderfull in this shot. Looks like you did some PP work to the BG. There is still some visable result around the top edge of the fungi. If I am incorrect, I am wondering what else it can be.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Christian,
Sharp and clearly seen picture. Well composed and exposed. Because it is not toxic, then should be edible but may taste awesome:)

bonjour christian
même si la champi en lui même n'a pas beaucoup d'interet pour le ramasseur puisqu'il n'est pas bon a manger,je trouve la note tres bonne,la netteté tres impeccable et le BG parfaitement flou.
bravo pour ce cliché.

Simple and beautiful composition of this mushroom Christian.

I like it a lot: composition, color, sharpness, lighting, POV, DOF, focus, background, framing, notes.

I don't like it: nothing.

I love the elected framing with perfect lighting and details.
Thank you and regards... Ricardo

Hello Christian

While I'm definitely not much of a fungi specialist I can not really comment on the subject as such, but I can surely appreciate a good photo when I see one.

The composition is tops and very pleasing. I like the colourful branch filling and framing the space on the left while delivering the fungus into the frame. The DOF covered the complete range of the subject while it still rendered the contrasting dark BG completely OOF to compliment the fungus. The details are crispy and the exposure was spot on.

Very well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hello Christian,

Bonjour Christian!

Simply shot, but very interesting and beautifull. I like colours and textures of both - fungus and tree. Good POV, well composed image, perfect quality. Piece of Alpes on our screens :-)

belle photo de ce champignon,je ne les connais pas mais il est joli. Thomas

Hi Christian

This is an interesting lump on the side of the branch. Very well seen! You have captured this with awesome clarity and sharpness. You have isolated it well from the BG. Impressive quality shot. Thank you my friend! :-)

Hi Christian.
Nice shot of this Piptoporus.
DOF a bit short this time for my personal taste, but the great BG and details definately makes it an interesting image.
BTW, I have been looking at you web (not only to the mushrooms section :), and I was quite confused with your location, I see you are next to Switzerland I thought you wher closer to the Atlantic :)
Best regards, Felipe.
Beautiful place

Hello Christian,
Excellent color and exposure, but I expect that from you always ;)
Sharp details and I like the interest/texture of the fungi alongside the tree bark also.
Excellent handheld work,
Very well done mf.
