A wonderful atmosphere, Gloria,
I like the colours and the clouds so much.
It seems you were in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks, a beautiful quiet place

You mean you are on your way back to Tibet, Gloria? I thought you had come down to Nepal through Tibet some time ago.
Anyway, despite the hostile terrain you mention in your five-words note, you have captured an amazing Tibet landscape.
What a fantastic sky contrasting so dramatically with the brown earth! The depth of view reveals fine details of low, sunlit hillocks in the background.
Thanks for sharing this great image and take care.

Hi Gloria,
City: In the middle of nowhere....it just gave me a really big smile :)
I love the contrast of the stunning blue sky and the dessert like landscape. But I really love the light shining on the mountians in the far distance.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Gloria, I can remember when I first joined TE, 2 years ago, I used to comment on some of your pictures. And are you still wandering around India?
The landscape does look very hard to live there. So barren and inhospitable. Those pointed hills in the middle right all look quite unusual. Well shown, and thank you.
Janice

This is a stunning place! So beautiful! I like these colours very well saturated and this great POV

Hi Gloria,
A barren yet beautiful landscape. Very dramatic sky makes the shot here. Well done!
Scott

Well done Gloria.
I think the added contrast and deep blue sky makes the shot. I like the contrast of the barren brown landscape to the colors of the sky as well. A striking image :)
Have a Great Weekend!

Gloria,
You are right. It may be a:"Dry, barren, windswept, hostile environment.";but, it is beautiful.
And you have done an OUTSTANDING job.
Congratulations.

Hello Gloria,
This is an attractive sky, and I notice how nicely the light plays with the mountains in a far distance..!
A well balanced composition showing this rugged landscape...
