This tiger seemed right at home in the snow and cold of the Chicago winter. The Brookfield zoo is in the suberbs of Chicago, i'd guess about 10 miles from da loop. The zoo eschews cages and this tiger was seperated from us only by a moat. there's other shots of this tiger here and here |

this is pretty intimidating eye contact...the cats think on a one track mind set..eye contact..aggression..if hungry..kill
you got the right look there for the real thing
i was excited about this as to the possibilities of more detail and sharpness so did a w/s just to see what was still there
i have yet to see it as i comment and then load the workshop...
i would enjoy your comments on it..
its my 'pet' subject..eyes and fur

Excelente Tom, un disparo perfecto y lleno de colorido, saludos TFS. Sira
Wow.. this could be a national geographic magazine cover, with more touchups to perfect it. I like this composition here. IT really does look intimidating.. that's why they are one of the fiercest creatures alive.
All the details are fantastic to allow me to appreciate the majesty of this tiger.

Hi Tim,
I like this capture, if tiger could speak, he would say: "Just wait, you are the next on my list... you better run" I like this "anger" look.. like he is slightly preparing himself to attack..
Great work!
Greetings,
Vanilla
