[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As mentioned on my previous post, I camed upond 2 deers in yesterdays walk and this one is obviously is the male. He was not as close as the female and I had to find the best POV possible as there was a lot of trees and branches between us. This is the best I could manage without frightened them off.

Hi Pierre,

Well done on the capture.
Too bad the legs are cutoff, maybe a portrait would complete the composition, or a full length shot.

Hi Patrick, This is a great shot of the deer. Your manuevering has paid off. You have a very good position on this one. The light hitting the right side of his face has given him a nice portrait.

Thanks, John

Excellent sunset light caputed.

Hi Patrick,

I think you did a great job with this capture as I know that deers are not that easy to approach, this one is looking as he is on the move shortly, well done and TFS

Helo Patrick,
I love the low light here...giving the pic a lot of mood.

Allo Patrick,
Merci,

Hi Patrick,
The details and colors on the dear are perfect again. I like the pose, especially the way he turned us head to face you. I agree with Mike on the legs. I also feel that a wider aperture would make for a better, more smooth, BG.

Hello Patrick,

excellent work, great details, very crisp, nicly composed and capture photo, perfect colors, Bg, POV DOF nice work,

TFS Kyle

I love the look he is giving you and the light is very nice Patrick. Detail in the coat are well seen. I am not overly keen on the composition. I think I would have went for a vertical composition framing the tree trunk as part of it. well done.

Bonjour Patrick
Magnifique photo de ce joli portrait de ce beau cerf mâle! Les couleurs et la composition sont superbes. La netteté est parfaite. Merci de partager!
Bravo et au revoir....JP

What a great thing to see in the woods! You are very lucky, at least here in Norway deer is very shy. I agree that it is a pity that the legs are cut off, but Im impressed that you got such a nice and sharp picture of the face.
Well done!

Hi Patrick,
A lovely shot of this deer. Nice colors and perfect sharpness. The fact that the feet are cut off is not really a problem. Well done and TFS, Mike
