Very nice detail and excellent light in this close-up. It is interesting how much the shade of orange/gold/yellow can vary in this butterfly.

What a beautiful close-up on this butterfly ! I really like the eye of this insect. Excellent sharpness and details, beautiful vivid colors, wonderful composition and POV. The subject stands out nicely on the dark and blurred BG. There is some noise in the BG but it is still a fantastic picture. Very well done !
