[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This gull was dive-bombing a moorhen with some food, I tracked him until just after one fo his dives and was rising back up into the air for another attack. This was the best out of about 10 photos..I love the way the sun shines through his wings.

Hi Mark,

Lovely in-flight shot, superb composition and POV, nice details and lovely colours but I think its the totally fantastic back lighting that makes the shot so good, I love the way it illumanates the wings and the water splashes, well done.

The sun through the wings is spectacular. It's nice that the background is so dark. It really sets them off. Great action shot.

Good action shot here Mark. You musty be pleased with it. The white is a bit over-exposed, but the details are great, especially the water drops - very sharp...
