ever since I can remember this is a plant that I have found to be eye catching even when dead and dried out it holds an interest to me.It is the only flower that I know that has a single purple blossom dead center and all the rest being white in colour.I don't know why the flower is this way but it sure seems to be unique in that respect.Nice compo and good focus make this a worthy addition to TN. TFS. Bob
This looks like one of the local beauties... they grow wild out here.
In the wintertime their skeletons are interesting.
