[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This weed base, of a teasel, was enveloped in ice during a recent ice storm. After seeing a gorgeous shot taken by Sky Fa, I went looking for what I had been missing, the small pieces of beauty in the larger twinkly landscape. Since everything was iced, including individual blades of grass, my yard had plenty to offer. Thank you Sky for opening my eyes! Midday sun and cloud. |

Excellent photo that shows us the beauty we can find even in harsh conditions! I like the way you have captured the ice encapsulated teasel flower base. It's geometric star pattern
provides such a nice contrast to the lines in the ice.
Well seen, well shot and great compo! Tfs. Jay
Hello Linda,
Very nice close up shot of a beautiful ice sculpture. It looks like a yummy exlusive lollipop to me. :p Beautiful reflections and lovely natural colours.
Tfs, all the best,
Tairi

Hi Linda, I like this one even better than the one you had yesterday. Imagine finding a star in the weeds.
Thanks, John

Hello Linda,
I love this one, the detail is so beautiful. Excellent sharpness and the POV is great. That frezing rain sure gave us a lot of wondeful subjects to photograph.
