Well it may be a common dove but it is an uncommon photo. I love the simple composition, and all the tans and cream colors complemented with the soft greens. It is just lovely.

Hi Mike

What a lovely shot of this morning dove. This presentation has a great air of peacefulness and it is great to see such a shot from you.

I fancy the composition with the frontal shot of the dove, the angle of its perch, and the decorative effect caused by the pine needles. The colours are soft and stunning, the details are very sharp, the BG is brilliant and the OOF colour match compliments the bird very well, and you did great work with the exposure control.
