Hello Rick,
This is so beautiful! It is not that easy (from me) to photograph rainbow. Colors and composition are superb with excellent exposure. Thanks,

Hi Rick,

i never tire of seeing rainbows and this is a great specimen you've caught for us to see here! Great mood, with mountains in the background adding to the drama nicely, there's real sense of some weather going on here!

Hello Rick,
Magnificent capture of rainbow.POV,colors, framing,DOF and composition are excellent.

Not just a rainbow Rick, but a DOUBLE rainbow! Bravo.
To many folks the outer one may be hard to see, but it is there! I will try to bring it out some.

The water in the lake is running a tad uphill, but I love the compo, and the atmosphere which you have captured very well!

See what you think of the WS. And THANX eh! Jay

PS This was a very nice surprise. I love rainbows!

Hi Rick,

This is a good rainbow capture. Isn't it nice to live where there are great photo ops close at hand? There are a few things I notice here that could be altered a bit to give this nice photo a little more impact. I think the exposure is good on the foreground grass and tree but a little overexposed on the rest. A graduated neutral density filter may have helped to even it out. In post processing there ate still things you could do because it doesn't look as if any of the highlights or shadows are clipped. Ther is plenty of detail in the shot. I tried a different approach to a workshop as I wanted to maintain the colors in your original.

Belle photo, belle capture de cet arc-en-ciel de toute beauté. Amicalement Thomas

Hi Rick
I think Jay needs a rainbow for good luck and warm weather :)
I like the composition and mood here Rick. I can feel and smell the rain in the air. The rainbow is a nice addition, the colours are great.

Hi Rick,
A wonderful capture with good colors and excellent work on conveying the weather. I am actaully not sure if anything needs to be changed to this photo. It all looks very real to me. The composition is perfect and the details are well visable. That tree is a small pity, but it was there. Excellent work on capturing the outer rainbow as well.

Hi Rick,
the rainbow is very lovely and it compliments Waterton Nat.Park nicely.Waterton is a world class place and in my humble opinion the best national park in Canada and the park extends right into Montana, truly an international place. The only thing about this picture that could make it pop would be a harder focus on the background, however realistically that is nearly impossible as water is needed for the 'bow',nicely done. Bob

Hello Rick,
magnificent landscape of great atmospherical depth and beauty.
Delightfully subtle colours showing the darkness of a rainy day and the return of sunlight with a very well recorded fragile double rainbow.
Perfect composition. The tree to the right - well, it's not just there, but it is very well decidedly taken into the picture as a perfectly reduced element of foreground to add to the great depth.
Thank you!
Best regards,

WOW, what a beautiful rainbow photo. Exceptional job capturing this beauty of nature. Very nice composition with just enough water and sky separated by the majestic mountain.

Have a double rainbows is fortunate, to have it seen it and capture it in Waterton is like icing on the cake and get to eat it too. Technically all is fine and composition is also good. Thanks Rick.
