[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken from a tree in our "kitchen" area from last weekend's winter camp. These Spruce Trees have very short needles so that they are able to shed the massive amounts of snow which fall each winter in these parts.
With the icy and humid winds however, ice forms on the windward sides of the trees; making them ghostly white.
I found this bit of ice buildup on these remaining cones quite interesting.
I'm also pretty happy with the macro abilities of this S9100.

I would be happy too, this macro is very good and the composition fantastic. I like the frosted cones, better them than you.
