This is a juvenile Mimus saturninus arenaceus (Chalk-browed Mockingbird). Interesting photo, the blue iris color seen here is not noted anywhere in bird guides - that of adult is brownish-yellow.

Glad to see the trip is going great, my friend!
Hope you had a lot of great captures, just like this one! ;)
A really wonderful shot, but you'll have to say a bit "Thank you" to the bird for being so patient with you and waiting for the "saga" :))
The details on the head are terrific and razor-sharp and the shallow DOF does well to contain all the allention there.
Also the pose is great and the eye-contact is exceptional!

Great close up of this bird.
The POV used is so good that we can enjoy all the details got in this picture.
The head, beak and eye are so clear and sharp, is so pleasant to look at.
The narrow DOF gives an interesting background, that forms a very good composition also.

El escaso DOF que usaste Livio ha dejado en foco sólo unos pocos detalles de la cabeza y pecho, pero con una nitidez y filo inusuales.
El desenfoque posterior realza aun más este efecto, con muy buena iluminación que brinda un agradable catchlight a la captura.

Hola Livio:
Excelente captura, con detalles muy nitidos en la cabeza y el pecho del ave. Me agrada el colorido y el foco centrado en el frente, que se va disfuminando hacia la parte posterior del cuerpo, hasta casi fundirse con el resto del cuadro.
El ojo y la expresiòn del pàjaro estàn muy bien retratados. ¡Bravo!

Your effort has paid off well. A very nice frame filling composition. Sorry I can't help with the ID, but the photo looks great. Sharp detail in the head and eye with a very pleasing gradual falloff in the DOF. The color of the OOF backround shows him perfectly.
