[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the brood from the other photo Ducks Before a Storm.

I did a lot of sharpening on this one, trying to enhance the water droplets spraying off the little duck which had just surfaced from a dive. May have gone a bit overboard

It was fun watching the ducklings dabbling and diving, particularly diving. They would suddenly disappear, leaving a swirl of water and then pop to the surface a few seconds later like a cork.

nice sharpness and water ripples good water droplets.

I love the tiny drops clinging to it, wonderful clarity

I like the simple composition of this photo...
The water droplets and steel grey ripples add to a more interesting effect.

What a cute shot the detail is nice and the drops look great nice contrasty light TFS rgds Necip.

Wonderful capture of a not so ugly duckling!
The duckling is so nice that I would like to see it
less dwarved by the b/g , i.e. the water ripples...

I have done a WS to give exprssion to that idea.
