Ok, enough of the sunsets for a little while - so what then? Sunrises of course!
This picture is taken in the morning hours just a few days before the sun shows itself above the horizon. The direction of shooting is due east. It is taken towards the Kirkesdalen (dalen = [the] valley).
The peach colours are fantastic, at least in my view. Not much editing in PS - just a tad adjustment of levels. Hope you like it!

Well put Torbjorn! Now if only we can get some seasmoke! ;)
I like the way you have used the pastel layers over the stark black silhouetted f/g. The frame though fitting with the f/g is a wee heavy for me. Tfs, Jay

Hi Torbjorn

Stuuning colours. Nice silhouette of the mountains. Nice work. TFS.

Hi Torbjorn

What a simple and magnificent capture!
This is just outstanding! You found beauty in one of the most remote landscapes and now you're sharing it with us.
The sky here is wonderful and seems to present some horizontal lines - each of a different colors - but creating a SPLENDID pattern.
The silhouettes of the mountains are charming and make a lovely FG.
I see that after a superb series of sunsets you turned to sunrizes...hope to see more and looking forwards for what's coming afterwads (nights of mid-day? :)) ).

Bravo and TFS

Hi Torbjorn,
I like your sence of humor about the sunsets and sunrises. But hey what else can you do when the sun will not show at all. :)
The differerent colors in the sky and the sharp silhoutte of the mountian range are very beautiful. A really wonderful minimalistic composition.

Hi Torbjorn

Lovely pastel colored sky. The dark profile of the mountains is well defined and sharp. A simple but pleasing composition.

Hello Torbjorn,
Excellent ascetic composition. The colour layers in the sky are the main point of this shot. Very nice framing too - well fits the image.
Best greetings and TFS!

The morning colors are indeed lovely. the subtle horizontal striping is nice too. I like the interesting, silhouetted skyline. It is technically well executed and artistically presented.
