|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I saw this butterfly at the same place that I took the second juniper picture. This poor butterfly was hiding from the storm winds and I canīt imagine how he/she could land there without getting hurt. It was thrown around in the wind and suddenly thrown to the ground. When I got there it sat perfectly still trying not to be thrown up in the air again. Therefore I had no problems taking the photo (except keeping my hands still in storm winds). I never got the chance to see the upper side of the wings either so I donīt know what color it was.|
I donīt however know what type of butterfly it is so any suggestions are wellcome.

Very nice Urban, the camouflage is very well illustrated. Nice detail and DOF. Well done. I'm sorry I can't seem to help on the ID.
He blends in nicely with the environment. Details and compo is good. Nice work done here.
Urban, Very nice shot depicting one of natures major survival techniques. It's a shame it didn't spread for you. It looks like there may have been more of the gold coloration there. The few flowers do add some needed color/interest to an otherwise well "camoflaged" photo..
Very nice picture! Unfortunatelly I'm not sure what is this :-(
