[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little artic fox just had his meal and he rolled up to take a nap and licking his fur for a little clean-up.
Not easy to take these shots through fences and of such a nervous animal running away from the camera. I was happy that he settled down and started to lick his fur with his nice little pink tong.
Taken at the Ecomuseum.
The photo was cropped from a bigger frame but not interesting as we see the fence behind him.

Lovely catpture! There is a defininte gentleness and mood of contentment in this shot. Great detail, and interesting lighting. Thank you for posting.

Great shot, I would've triy to overexpose it just to keep the eye.
Well done.

This is a magazine photo!
This is just WOW!!!

Outstanding white and the position of the wolf(?) is just perfect!

Very very very very WellDone!

Beautiful job on the crop to make this composition. This is an excellent image...very touching moment. My only nit-pik is the digital noise in the photo...you can download and try for free a reduction program called Neat Image. I think I would brighten up the catch light in the kit's eye with a clone tool, but not too much as you want it to look natural and not added. Then this image would be absolutely perfect....good job!

Good shot, I like the angle you used and the use of light. Good composition, Iris

Merci Nina.

Wonderful capture! Congratulations!

This is a stunning shot! White is one of the hardest colors to photograph but you have managed to get the contrast right. It is brilliant to be able to have the fox's head as to bring its white winter coat to life.
