[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The lichens are the main food for the caribou herd during the winter. It take about 60 years to regrow and it is pretty much related to the caribou herds cycle.
Taken on the macro position, i crop and resize.

Hello Frank,
This is a beautiful illustration of a Cup lichen, Cladonia sp. Very sharp and nicely in focus and the colours are great too. I like the POV (you've been flat on your tummy again!) and the composition very much.

Ils sont beaux ces lichens argentés avec leur fleurs(?) rouges. C'est comme une forêt enchantée.
