You have done a wonderful job with the combination of your new lens and cir pol flter here. The landscape is stunningly beautiful.
The contrasts between the right and the left banks of the river make the composition all the more attractive, IMO.

Another momentous landscape photograph Emma!
Everything is fantastic and I really like the mountain being the centre of the shot with the river leading us towards it. The colours and light have really accentuated the detail.
Very well done, inspiring!

No, on my screen the brightness is okay, to answer your question.
Previous post is just another post, another picture and the photo is well done too.
So good work. Nice wide angle shots. Very good compositions.

Very nice. I especially like how both the stream and clouds seem to radiate from the mountain.

Another outstanding scotish scene from you! It looks breathtaing!
I really like the wide view here and it shows the mountain's vicinities very well. Also the pesrpective is surreal and the details everywhere are outstanding!
The work with all the filter and the levels of brightness definately payed of this time, too, as the result is a superbly balanced shot! The colors are also most charming and very well saturated.
I definately don't think this is too bright! It definately a bit brighter that the previous, but the darker parts from the onther one gave it the lovely mood...so i like them both just as they are :)
All-in-all: SPLENDID WORK!
Bravo and TFS

This is a really a great one. Your POV above the river really makes me travel up stream toward the mountain. The subtle colors of the winter time are well captured. I can't wait to see it for real with summer colors. I was wondering what that glare was, so I am glad you mentioned it in your note. I think the brightness on this one is perfect.

Hola Emma, es genial el pov.
magnífica postal, bellos detalles
y composición, gran trabajo... muchos saludos
You took full advantage of that lens Emma. What amazing depth of focus, rich color and sharpness. It does feel a little bright on my monitor. The bright clouds on the left kind of detract from the wonderful light and textures of the peak and the rocks leading into the scene. I took up the challenge of your lens flare.

These latest landscape images are just excellent. All are of the highest quality with beautiful colour and crystal clear detail. The use of the wide angle here in combination with a low POV has given amazing depth and really draws you in.Its got to be a favorite!
Have a great weekend.

this is the perfect place - I love the silence and the brilliant colours, the best place to throw all the stress and hectic away - just sit down and relax - I even can do this while looking at your shot, it's perfect, thanks
Sabine - wishnugaruda
Oh yes - my (so far) favourite peak :)
The only problem for me is - with such a good weather you don't have enough "dramatism" in the shot (if you know what I mean) :) and it looks simply too quiet (but still very nice though).
To answer your question about brightness level - I think this one is about right, the previous one was a tad too dark.
Have a look at those two links - it may help you with your monitor settings:
When it comes to your question about glare reduction - you may try to use Selective Color layer and play with the settings.
I've uploaded my version with some glare reduced. Just have a look if that satisfies you.

A lovely composition with the characteristic peak in the centre!
Brightness looks right on my screen, and the colours are wonderful for winter...
Good details with the rocks in the stream!
Hello Emma, I hope your keeping well. You have been busy I see and your hikes in the highland have brought their reward. The clarity of this image is simply breathtaking. Your composition is excellent and your exposure well handled. I love the mood of your other captures to. I am forcing myself to take a good break from the Trek sites till I catch up on a few things like building a web site and sorting my files and finalizing a lot of my raw files. I am really looking forward to exploring Scotland sometime this year. I bought into the Lee filter system BTW. Anyhow very well done mf..
