Hello Fikret,
This is a superb capture of the Hawfinch, a bird that I have not yet succeeded in photographing well.
The BG and sharpness are first class and the sloping perch contributes to an excellent composition. The POV makes this a top class illustration for a bird book.

Hello Fikret,

THis is a great posting! A high quality picture with a wonderful composition. You placed the bird in the right side of the image leaving plenty of space in front of it. The beautiful background is perfect for drawing attention on the subject. There is only on minor point I would have tried to change on the composition: I would have tried to frame the picture so that the branch wouldn't run exactly through the corner of the image. However this doesn't diminish the overall beauty of the photo.
The natural colors of the bird are in great contrast and the spot-on sharpness emphasizes every detail. Exposure is very good with just a little, fully acceptable OE on the hawfinches highlights (beak and wing). But this is just a minor point. You managed to capture a superb outline light which also helps isolating the subject from the background. Excellent work here!
The pose of the bird is also a strong point. I like pictures where the silhouettes of the subjects are easily readable against the background. Also the great eye contact, the light around the eye and the catchlights in the bird's pupil are worth mentioning. A very good work of art with an excellent informative note. 70-300 ile bu kadar yakın, net ve estetik fotoğrafları nasıl çektiğinizi merak ediyorum Fikret Bey! Sırrınız yaklaşabilmekte mi acaba! D-SLR konusunda tecrübeli olduğum söylenemez, ama bir arkadaşımın 300'lük macro objektifiyle deneme yapmıştım ve yetersiz olduğunu düşünmüştüm, kaldıki 12xzoom (yaklaşık 420 mm'ye tekabül ediyor)panasonic FZ10 ilk makinamdı ve onunda kuş fotoğrafları için yetersiz olduğunu görmüştüm. Geriye objektif kalitesi kalıyor, acaba kalite farkı bu kadar etkin olabilir mi? Amma çok soru sordum değil mi?

Neyse, renkler, arka plan, inanılmaz canlı keskinlik. Sitedeki en güzel kuş fotoğraflarını yüklüyorsunuz desem yalan olmaz (en azından bana göre).

Now this is what I call a "just what the doctor ordered" photo. This is really stunning. This Hawfinch is really a very handsome little bird. Your focus here was spot on. A lovely close-up with stunning colours and sharp details. I've got a thing about a bird’s eye and this one is no exception. The brown and black eye with the shine surely is an attraction.
