[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Female Rufous Hummingbird a little nervous and not too sure of the big glass thing looking at her. Taken about 10AM in bright sun. Green background is natural .....a blend of a distant golf course and evergreens.

Bonsoir Wally
Surperbe cette image, composition, couleurs et netteté. Je pense que cette prise de vue n'est pas très facile vu les dimensions du sujet.
Amicalement Robi

Beautiful picture. It sure is looking at you. What is it perching on?

Hi Wally,
Nice shot of this hummer..I would prefer to see it nectaring at a flower, with the color it adds to the frame. Everytime we add man-made objects to a frame, it is diminished IMHO.
None-the-less, you captured this one with very good detail, color, and sharpness..
Well done & TFS.

bonjour Wally,

Hello Walter,
I like this DOF with its blurred wings. Nice POV and composition too. This BG is really amazing and so are details and exposure. I really don't know how you can so easily catch those tinny birds. I tried many times but I had to forget it... Maybe that with the help of my monopod and this rotating head, it'll be better this summer... Thanks,

Hi Wally,
what a simple and minimalistic looking photo with nothing distracting from the view of the little hummer.Amazing that at even 1/400 of a second of exposure its little wings are still blurred.A very good composition, well done. Bob

Hi Wally,

Lovely shot Wally,

this is such a pretty bird and so well captured.
