Next photo from our Geological Museum.
This photo is for Sweety which wrote me she wants to visit our Museum. I know it isn't possible but I try to show you couple of mineral from it (I posted fossilised shells, amethyst and rose of the desert).
And now I want to show you quartz which looks like a diamond in the sun!

Sweety should love this Joanna. What pretty warm colours this quartz is. You are right, it does look like warm diamonds in the sun. I like the silver looking bits. Well done.

Very nice shot Joanna, but too much empty space on the left corner (IMO).
Well done.

Nicely done, but I agree with Netfalls; you should have focused on more minerals. Now there's a little too much empty space in the photo. 2 points for efforts though. ;)

Hi Joanna.Nice quartz crystals. The DOF is not so good on this one.The bits in focus are nice, but a large part is OOF.Perhaps if you were no so end on to the subject.Sometimes its tricky.
I told Gregzzz,I was thinking of you guys while I was in the forest today.I wished I could be showing you our beautiful bush.I'll have to show you the photos.

Nice crystals Joanna, I prefer rather quartz than diamonds ;-) It is very usefull i.e. think about watches or quartz on motherboard in our computer ;-) I like crystals and lightplay in it. If you will be polite I would buy you ring with some kind of crystal ;-) [Yes Philip, I'm learning fast ;-)))].

Hi Joanna
Peoblem is, diamonds are not this shiny, unless cut properly, Very nice refletions, TFS.
IMO, Crop off about 1/3 on the left, most of the gliter in on the right and middle bottom, so I would also crop off some on the top. A smaller but more striking pic. Sorry, my WS are spent for today.

Hi Joanna, I agree about the cropping comments. It's a nice shot, it'd be great if you had some details about quartz, it's an interesting mineral. Well done.

Piękne refleksy światła w tych kryształach. Bardzo lubię takie błyskotki!

It is a super idea sharing these minral photos with us. Although I would love to read more of it in your note. I agree with the cropping recommended by Callie. Very nice shot, well done.

To my eye, these look wonderful and enticing. You have achieved great detail with the conditions you described to sAner. Well done, and TFS.
