AND QUIET FLOWS THE BASPA
thank you for showing us this fascinating landscape from the roof of the world in this well taken colourful image. Such a picture report is very valuable for us when combined with notes from a person who not only has been on a short visit to the place but knows it very well from his roots. Well decided to leave the image as it is with all the few elements of civilization. Culture and nature are difficult to keep apart, and even landscapes that appear to be very natural are often the result of human influences.
With thanks, and best regards,

Hello Mr Thakur,
a nice shot from your archive, brings memories back,
i liked the composition quite a lot, the bridge with people gives good effect to the shot, the flowing stream of water and the blue sky on top looks lovely,

Very nice landscape capture.
Looks like a very peaceful place.
I like the point of view a lot.
Ram, some people don't like a human "interference" on TN, but it doesn't bother me.
Great composition and colors - specially the blue shades in the sky.
I like contrast too.

Some amazing landscape scenery from the high altitudes. Looks like some cold clear snow melt in the stream. Looks like place I would love to visit.

Fabulous how the water rushes by here: there is a lot of power in that river!

Next your warm note and nice view. Excellent POV, colours and details of whole image. Impressive shadows and excellent lighting. Your decision to save natural scenery (original image) is quite correct. My compliments and TFS.

I too appreciate this landscape picture for its originality. You said that you did'nt want to tamper with the scan ("true spirit of TN"). Yes, but in a limited way we have to do it all the time. Maybe not remove objects but certainly check for colour balance (I feel there is too much red in your slide, it could be selectively reduced), or remove smudges (none here). It's good to have peole like you to bring up interesting questions. Thanks for showing.
My best regards,

You must have been standing in the freezing water to shoot this picture! But my god it was worth it!
The deep blue sky , the ice green water, the people crossing the abyss combine to make your work magnificent!
In my "previous life" as contributing TN member, I was often at odds with other members about photoshopping/killing photos.
The natural colours of your image make it an absolute pleasure to view your photo! I am adding it to my new theme "high Altitude".
Warm greetings from South Africa
