This is my post Nº 300. and I chose for it a fungui, of course :)

Amanita pantherina (DC. ex Fr.)

ENGLSH IN THE LOWER PART

- Sombrero: De 4-12 cm de diámetro. Hemisférico, después convexo, finalmente plano-convexo. De color que varía entre el pardo-grisáceo y marrón claro. Cutícula separable con facilidad, húmeda, brillante, que presenta restos membranosos del velo universal en forma de numerosas verrugas de color blanco puro dispuestas regularmente, que pueden desprenderse con facilidad. Margen redondeado, muy estriado y concoloro.
- Laminas: Laminas libres, redondeadas y apretadas con laminillas intercaladas. De color blanco. Arista de aspecto harinoso del mismo color.
- Pie:De 6-12 cm. de largo x 0,5-2 cm de diámetro. Cilíndrico ensanchándose hacia la base, terminando en un bulbo redondeado. Lleno que evoluciona a hueco. De color blanco sucio, presenta aspecto harinoso en toda su superficie. Anillo blanco, a media altura, membranoso tipo faldita, persistente y algo estriado en su parte superior, La volva es circuncisa, (terminada por un reborde en ángulo vivo), que por encima presenta dos o tres burletes anulares.
- Carne: Poco consistente, tierna, de color blanco. Olor débil. Sabor dulce.
- Variedades: abietinum Gilbert, que posee sombreros de gran tamaño, (hasta 15 cm), robustos, de color pardo oscuro y margen liso.

ESPORADA:
- Esporada: De color blanco.
- Esporas: Esporas lisas, ovoidales, hialinas, de 10-12 x 7-8 µm. No amiloides.
- Basidios: Tetraspóricos.

ECOLOGÍA:
- Verano y otoño. Fructifica bajo coníferas y también bajo caducifolios.

COMESTIBILIDAD:
- Muy tóxica. Presenta el mismo síndrome que A. muscaria, (micoatropínico), pero más grave, y excepcionalmente puede ocasionar la muerte.

Panthercap Amanite panthère, Pantherpilz
Cap 6–10cm across, ochraceous brown, covered with small pure-white warty fragments of the veil, finely striate at the margin.
Stem 90–130´10–15mm, white with tattered, pendulous ring which is not striate or grooved, the stem base is bulbous and closely wrapped in the white volva which forms a distinct free rim around the base and one or two belt-like rings just above.
Flesh white, becoming hollow in the stem.
Taste and smell mild. Gills free, crowded white.
Spore print white. Spores broadly ovate, nonamyloid, 8–12 x 6.7–7.5µ.
Habitat in coniferous or deciduous woodland especially beech. Distribution, America and Europe.
Season summer to autumn.
Poisonous – may be deadly.

300 presentaciones amigos míos... todo una cifra para mostrarnos la pasión y el talento puestos detrás de una cámara.... gracias por ello.
Creo que las críticas como en otras oportunidades han sido injustas con esta escena que tiene un valor estético y técnico de relevancia.
Capturar tan bello conjunto de setas con suaves tonos, buen control de blancos, excelente contraste con el medio ambiente y la nitidez y foco que se perciben aquí es tan difícil de encontrar y retratar al insecto más estrafalario o el ave más imponente... pero ya sabemos como funciona TN y la mente de muchos de sus miembros.
