Mycena acicula

I find this small and colourful fungus very encharming and elegant.

Mycena acicula (Schaeff. ex Fr.) Kummer syn. Marasmiellus aciculus (Schaeff. ex Fr.) Sing. Orangeroter Helmling Orange Bonnet.
* Cap 2–10mm, hemispherical, bright orange becoming paler towards the margin, striate.
* Stem 20–50´1mm, bright yellow becoming paler towards the rooting, slightly hairy base.
* Flesh very thin, orange in cap.
* Taste mild, smell none.
* Gills ascending, pale yellow with whitish edge. Cheilo- and pleurocystidia not very prominent, thin-walled, hyaline, fusoid.
* Spore print white. Spores fusiform, nonamyloid, 9–12 x 3–4um.
* Habitat on dead twigs and other woody fragments.
* Season summer to autumn. Occasional.
* Not edible.
* Found In Europe and north America.

Muy bonito y esbelto. Buena idea contrastar el naranja con el fondo oscuro. Composición muy acertada; incluso el palo va bien.

What a splendid capture!
It looks like one of those old electric of thelephone poles :))
The colors of this fungus are really superb and vivid and the contrast with the dark BG here is outstanding!
Also the details are terrific and the simplt composition is very effective.

Con un fondo un poco más difuso hubieses logrado un perfecto ejemplo de minimalismo basado en la imagen de esta belleza de seta Felipe.
La agradable y atinada elección del encuadre vertical, el excelente aprovechamiento de la luz disponible y un perfecto enfoque componen otra de tus efectivas presentaciones.
