[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This personifies for me the power and wonder of our natural environment.

Beyond the wave is the ocean and after a particular weather event half way to New Zealand we had a big swell rolling in. At a particular tide time the waves were catching the edge of the rock ledge giving the spectacular result shown.

They do fish here but not at the same time as this confluence of circumstances. However I've not been able to catch a fish in my life so what would I know

Dramatic photo nicely captured. Can you edit your note to tell me what is happening here?

Awesome capture of this wave Len. Very well timed on your part. So tell me, do they fish out here?

Thanks, John

Hi Len

Welcome to TN

I like your timing! This is great and shows the force of nature really well. :-)

Hello Len,

As a person on the shores of another ocean < frozen! > I envy you this warm stuff!
I bet it was no bother to get a wee spray. < Other than yer Canon >

I'd like to welcome you to TN, and hope to see a lot more power shots! Tfs, Jay
