Hi Ken,

This is not common in my book. It's a wonderful shot. Colors are fantastic, as are the details. I love his crooked looking beak.

I like a lot the POV and the clear and razorsharp details got.
It's really good the light there and spaecially their incidence on the eye.

One of the best gull shot. Amazing pose of the bird and outstanding quality of the picture (may be cropping on the left is strong a bit). Great details. sharpness, illumination of the gull image and tremendous reproduction of the water with waves. BRAVO. Excellent job.

Hello Ken,

Very good capture of this gull! It seems it is almost floating on the water surface. Excellent and well exposed details! I love the ripples in the blue water! Good idea to use the polarizer on this subject!
The light in the eye area is excellent and the white silhouette contrasts nicely with the blue water. It was a good idea to use the f/8 aperture since it gives you a deeper DOF, it is probably the setting with the sharpest results and there are no distracting objects in the water which you could blur with a larger aperture. Very well done! Thanks!

Hi Ken,
It did turn out very well! Nice quality soft light is what makes it look so great. Exposure looks spot on here. The colors and detail in the plumage look excellent. The water color looks good and the ripples are a great addition.
