jolie série de ce péroquet, ce portrait est bien pensé. Vous avez cependant choisi la vitesse plus que la profondeur de champ, ici ce n'est pas judicieux. Un petit traitement PP ferait gagner en netteté et en lumière.

Hi Stephanie,
a nice picture with lovely colours.
The picure is almost soft only the area around the eye is sharp, IMO you should have use a smaller apertur the F5 for a better DOF, you had room for it (1/1000sec.
I like the POV and compostion.

What a great picture , Ilove the sharpnees and the colour, beautiful composition .Personally I would have give just a little more space on the left side of the bird.Anaway it is a very good portrait.

I love the deep red you were able to capture here. And, the POV you used that to get just remarkable detail on the white skin of the face is astounding. I did want to correct you on what type of bird it was though. This is actually a Green-wing macaw and not a Scarlet macaw. They are very similar, except the Green-wing is the second largest macaw to the Hyacinth. And, the Green-wing is the one with the red markings on the face, while the Scarlets have none. It's an incredible shot though!

Really nice picture. Beautiful colors, contrast, etc... just one thing to note in the description. This is a Greenwing Macaw, Ara Chloroptera. The Scarlet is lighter red and has no lines of feathers in the face.
