[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today an upload of a special sighting,I know it is not one of my best shots on TN,but the rhinos were about 200 meters away from us (unfortunately did not come closer)and the sky was overcasted, anyway I like to share this special sighting with you as both are Black Rhinos and these rhinos are seldom seen in the Krugerpark and we have been privilaged to see two of them on the same day,we saw these rhinos on the H10 near the rietpan waterhole.

Black Rhinoceros
The Black rhino with its hook-lip used for browsing,is found in dense bush or thickets but seldom seen in kruger,The calf follows behind the mother. It is slightly smaller, and far more aggressive than the white Rhino.

on my website you can see here a movie of the more common white Rhino.

Hope you like it and TFW

This is a very rare sighting. One of the world's most endagered animals aren't they?
Very nice photo but a bit dark and a tad blurry, but I bet it will preserve the memory very well. Black Rhino's are amazing creatures and I envy you for seeing one!
Brilliant sighting,

Hi Paul,
Great shot of my favourite animal of the Kruger, I saw them only of a distance, you were very lucky.

Hello Paul,
Sometimes content out weighs quality, but in this case the quality isn't all that bad considering conditions. Nice colors and great composition. The bush in the foreground, you wouldn't be hiding behind would you, lol. Neat experience Paul, thanks for sharing.

Hoi Paul,

Hello Paul,
Seeing these Black Rhinos at 200m is safe but leaves limited photographic potential, so I think that under those circumstances this shot is a s good as possible. It is sharp and has a fine angle and comp.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hello Paul,
I think you're lucky they didn't come any closer!! You still managed to get an excellent shot of two(!) Rhinos! Well done and the sharpness and colours are great. Excellent composition too.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Great in-the-wild sighting Paul.
The "Bigma" has helped to reel em' in well from 200 meters.
Clear details and good sharpness.
Nice post of this rarely seen Black Rhino pair.
Well done & TFS.
