|Just a little sharpening to bring out the detail you've captured a bit more.|
NewLayerViaCopy. Converted to LABcolor, selected the brightness channel, then applied USM (10%, 20px, 0)(40%, 12px, 0)(20%, 0.9px, 0). Used a soft edged eraser to knock the background out so that it wasn't sharpened, and then adjusted the merge percentage until the sharpness was about right. Flattened image.
NewLayerViaCopy. Then used a little high-pass sharpening. Filter/Other/HighPass, 10px. Merge mode Hard Light, and adjusted the percentage until it seemed to be about as sharp as I'd like. Then used a soft-edged eraser again to knock the background out once again.
Just showing you what I'd do, I hope you find it interesting if nothing else ;)
