|Intro:||I have always loved learning about the natural world around me. Unfortunately, in recent years I have not spent as much time exploring it as I once did. About a year ago I became interested in photogrpahy and the bulk of my work has been in nature because that is what I find to be the most rewarding. I am continually amazed by the beauty of the world around us. Sadly, it is not fully appreciated by much of the population. |
We can all learn from famous photographers like Art Wolfe and Ansel Adams--not just for their talent, but also their efforts to conserve the rapidly vanishing wilderness areas. In order to be a great nature photographer, one needs to first have an appreciation for the natural world. It is no coincidence that the greatest of them all have been avid environmentalists.
I am also a musician. I play percussion and the piano. Music and photography have become my creative outlets, allowing me to express myself and share with others my artistic vision.
