Pardon my liberties, I just tried a WS by adjusting for the following points:
1. Increased saturation
2. Auto contrast adj for light exposure
3. Sharpen
4. Noise reduction which resulted due to the above points

Here are the changes:
I reduced brightness by -3 and increased contrast by +18.
I also cropped it ,because you left too much empty spaces,and for all I used photoshop CS.2
