|Intro:||I started taking pictures in April 2006 when my son was born. I must have taken about 100 pictures a day of him. Then I started getting creative with those pictures...and turned my eye to portrait photography. My dear husband bought me a Nikon d40x and some lenses, tripod, etc...and I started my new education. |
Turns out I would lead most of my portrait subjects outdoors rather than create intricate backdrops. Then I found myself pointing my camera at things other than humans. Once I started doing that, I was hooked. Taking portraits is still fun, but outdoor wildlife photography is so much more exciting! Don't know about the rest of you, but my heart starts racing when I'm going after a shot of a bird, insect or other animal.
Anyway - not that I'm really any good, but I do enjoy it a LOT...so that's why I'm here! I am also enjoying seeing others' work and learning even more from each of you! This seems like a really non-competitive and understanding and FRIENDLY community!
