Cropping an already low resolution image is not a good idea, but I did this to demonstrate perspective. Had you cropped the high resolution image, the results might be very good. I know you framed to show entire insect (including the filimentous cerci); however, since most of the insect is out of focus, why not maximize the interesting "in focus" portions of the insect? That is the point of my crop.

Cropped tighter to enlarge focal point and cut out undesirable portions. Obviously, cropping original would have been far better. Hope you like (barring the graininess caused by cropping and enlargement.
