Sorry I've been away for so long again. My efforts seem to be divided beteween dozens of sites these days, but I'll always have a special place for TN, where I really got my start in nature photography.
Some of you may remember, all my early posts back in 2003/4 were taken with a 2 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ2, and they were all 'point & shoot' on auto mode.
Since then, I've had the FZ5 & the FZ8 as well as 2 Canons (which I really only got for the flip out LCD screen). Now Panasonic have a Lumix built just for me ....
I am now the proud owner of the new Lumix DMC FZ100
What a great camera for my needs !
It is 14,1 megapixels, 24x optical zoom, 11 frames per sec burst shooting at full res, full HD video recording, and has the flip out,free-angle 3 inch LCD screen(perfect for fungi photography).
The first few shots I've taken with it are very encouraging.
I'm very very pleased with it.Hope you enjoy the pics :)
