About that BG, it is a wooden petition in the back of the iguana's cage ±1m behind the iguana. I was very close to the lizard when I captured this shot so the f/9 aperture actually presented a very narrow DOF. This caused the wooden BG to be well OOF and thus causing the soft effect. This guy did not move an eyelid, even with me being so close and when I fired the flash at him he remained totally motionless. If only the animals in the Kruger Park can come and learn some tips from this iguana I would fast become a master nature photographer (chuckle). Alas, in nature it is not as easy though.
