|I bought an Olympus digital camera and fell in love with it. I bought the best by borrowing on my house. I gave my daughter the first one, bought the 3030 for $1000. I was injured. I was losing my house, so I had to sell cheap, and bought my 3rd camera, 5050, $1000. The Chamba Indian police broke it for no reason, later said "sorry, mistake". They never got in trouble, I was beat up also by them for no reason, "mistake". The camera kept recording as they hit me, after smashing the lens. You can see their shapes, and perfect sound. Later they managed to knock off the lens, and refused to give it back to me.I had the 3030 with me, then was sucked into the ocean, I almost drowned, no one knows who saved me. It would have worked if I had rinsed the salt off. I shorted it out, when I clicked it, after it dried. I bought 2 more Olympus, a weather proof, $400 and a 8080 for $2000. These did not have Carl Zeiss lens, so a big difference. But still very beautiful, just not as much detail or amount of colors. The lens got jammed on the 8080, when it turned on in an airplane, Kathmandu to Bangkok, with an 8 hour battery. A man at radio shack broke the tab holding my battery. Since I have no way to get that much money again, I have my last 2 Olympus cameras, the 772 indestructible camera, and one with a lens I can change. No one will fix my broken ones. I love them. they are so tough, they went thru many things traveling in foreign countries. I love nature. I love travel! I love my cameras!!!!! I used to buy cheap ones, but once you have a good one, you must have more. I cannot break these, I will never afford them again, unless a miracle happens.
