dear Srikumar ... hope you are well, and everything in your life is fine ! Thank you for the wonderful notes in your comments. You are right about the time of the shot taken here ... so ignore the title please, in terms of the depth of field in a way you are right too ... however, lets don't forget that when using a wide angle lens such as my Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 ... your depth of field is much broader than when you use a telephoto lens for your birds ... so the data is correct here. I found that this specific lens I used here performs optimally at f/8 with minimum chromatic aberrations, with less vignetting and above all with best sharpness at f/8 ... so as you can see even at this aperture we have great depth of field which worked in this shot flawlessly .
