Thanks for your comments and for pointing out the typing error. I have corrected it.
As for the focus, you are absolutely right. Being predominantly a wildlife photographer, up to this stage, and not knowing much about macro photography, at that stage, I obviously applied the wrong f/stop thinking it is going to work the same. Well, f/4 was by far not the right choice, but fortunately I've learned a bit since then as you can see on my latter insect macros, for example this grasshopper. It was also the very first photo I took with this macro lens and it was done in great haste, as you can see from the notes.
