This photo was taken at the Living Desert, a zoo-botanical park in Palm Springs so inadvertedly was surrounded by fences.
Now, me I personally dislike any kind of fence, grill, bars or human built structure in my nature photos unless meant to be part of the compositions, reason why I shoot a lot in the wild...
So, a lil' pis**ed when I saw such good mugshot with barbwire around I started playing in Photoshop with it: select bacground around zebra edges, featherized it by 5 points I believe and last but not least "motion blur"ed it in 145' (?) angle and voila!
Of course the "Antarctica" was part of response of TN prompting me 3 times for info details, as no special charctes can be included...
