Yes a very interesting condition. And oddly enough I had never seen one here before. I have seen sundogs in Alberta, when it is forty below in February. But now I have seen
one sun pillar in the AM, and the next day < to be posted yet > one in the PM!

I wonder if this has to do with the winter solstice.. or only with the ice crystals.
