Hi Janice,

I meant kiwi fruit. I've never seen a kiwi bird!

If you cut open a jackfruit, you will see hundreds of small fruits inside. These little fruits (each the size of a kiwi fruit) have seeds inside with a surrounding pulp, which is the edible part. The pulp has firm consistency and can be eaten in small pieces. It is sweet with a dinticnt taste and odor.

I tasted the fruit and liked it. However, I realized afterwards that I am allergeic to this fruit. I get mild allergic reaction from raw apples and cherries. Now, I can add one more fruit to the list of my allergies. Too bad.

Thanks for the inquiry. I enjoy seeing your pictures and reading your notes.
