TOS violation ScottKY Silver Star Critiquer [C: 24 W: 3 N: 6] (280)::2005-12-29 16:58
Yesterday I had a photo deleated for a violaton. I am embarrassed that I broke the rules and apologise. When I look out in the pasture in front of my home and see the horses galloping through the field I think aaahhhh... NATURE.. But they are domesticated, and due to the proper scientific aura of the website, was a violation. Ill give more thought next time. This is a great website, and im glad to be a part..

Scott, please don't be embarrassed, we all make mistakes and there are times when we don't think something completely through. We are only human and as the saying goes "to err is human, to forgive divine". The best to you. Kim

I had a picture pulled recently too. I said in my photo comments that the moon I used was not the original moon, but rather a larger one that I inserted. This constituted more post processing than was allowed, so it got pulled. No biggie.

I think that TN are wrong in their treatment of horses. There are no truely wild horses or ponies in the UK - only semi ferrals - which means an entire species is being excluded, at least from a UK perspective.

Hi Mike

Surely that is not TrekNature's fault, but mankind's reckless and destructive rape, interference, abuse, and neglect of nature. All over the world there's many species that goes distinct daily. We will never see those again, but even so we cannot start arguing that we must except hybrid, feral, cultivated, modified, crossbreed, or whatever other man made or interfered animals or plants and place those on the same level as natural pure species. The rules of this site is clear to everyone keep it clean, keep it pure, keep it original, keep it natural. If you open the rules to one feral or domestic group it won't be long before someone else will start canvassing against the discriminatory rules that does not allow his or her loveable pussy cat as well, etc. But, that is how it always goes when someone draws a line. There will always be somebody who wants to move the line because they believe it to be drawn at the wrong point. The name of the site is TrekNature; not TrekFeral, TrekHybrid, TrekMixture, or TrekWhatever.

Hats off to the very positive and sober thoughts from Scott, Kim, and Tim. You've put it behind you where it belongs and you carried on.

Best regards
Loot
