Dear (?) Alex,

Although we're both Hungarians, You asked me for writing to You in English in the future. OK.

You said I was briefing You. Let's see:

1. I identified the species on Your photo (because the title is "I do not know") and wrote a few sentences about its habit. Briefing?

2. I wrote a very positive critique to the pic. Some words to re-hash (citated, translated to English): "wonderful composition, probably the best pic of You 'til now"; "excellent exposition, plenty of details on the white flowers"; "playing with lights and shadows makes the image a mystic one". I also mentioned the photo deserves 9 out of 10 points on my personal rankings. Briefing?

3. I bookmarked the photo as one of my favorites. Briefing?

4. I also mentioned a very small compositional error: You cropped the edges of some petals and halfly cropped a flower. Briefing?

5. I adviced You to make notes to Your photos, because the motto of TrekNature is "learning from nature through photography". Briefing?

Actually there wasn't any briefing in my words at all. The problem's somewhere else. It seems like You only accept praises, not real critiques. You only accept 10 points out of 10 - and if someone's willing to mention even minor technical or compositional failures, he's the antichrist himself in your eyes. Typical Hungarian sickness, which is called intolerance of constructive criticism. Really bad behaviour.

You said You were waiting for critiques, but not of this kind. Man, I really don't understand what You mean. I mentioned so many positive things (citated above) - what else do You wait for??!

You told people from abroad are more tolerant with each other. You're right. People from abroad are much more tolerant for constructive critiques than you. Anyway, it's funny You talk about criticism, because during Your more-than-one-year stay on the site You only wrote 10 critiques...

Instead of creating such a multilingual hotch-potch you should put your energy into writing critiques to others or notes to your photos, for example.

About Your last words ("NO best regards"): it seems like You forgot a lot about manners. If You knew them at all.

Not willing to share your arrogant sulkiness, I send my best regards. Good luck and all the best to you,

Leslie

Post-script: end of this discussion from my side, because it's nothing but a total waste of time.
