Thanks for this. Sadly I haven't received your mail...
Your portfolio is looking great and on the whole serves as a striking mural of the "Evolution of Loot since the Dawn of the Age of Pixel". It's my first time realizing that this day-by-day upload strategy serves an added purpose besides overloading servers and our senses. Yet another genius stroke by the developers!
It feels a bit like cheating for me to upload old photos taken in any random order. I'm bad at taking pictures in my back yard or just up the road, though surely there's no shortage of subject matter. Seems I need to pack up on a three-week expedition to pull my camera out. I can feel stirrings that this site will pull me out of that rut. Perhaps that will be part of the Evolution of Djuna.
On the other hand, the theme of TrekEarth (my entry point to all this) hit a strong chord for me and it is exciting to share parts of this corner of the world that I've found most spectacular.
Could you open my website in IE at all?? Or perhaps you went to the old version at www.indonesiawild.com. The new version at beta.indonesiawild.com has a few more bells and whistles. The direction our lightbox is heading has interesting potential for sharing and commenting. For now you can type little notes where image titles are. Next stop: Post-its! If I drone on about it and this is all very boring, please ignore me! I just feel like this site is a great gift to me and I'm eager to share.
I'll be thrilled to direct Dave your way. You actually have rather similar personality strengths!
