Hi Pablo, I haven't heard that expression though we have one in Canada that might be similar? A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Actually I think the Jays helped the Owl get home early. They were really nasty. I always knew they could be an aggressive bird, but they really took it to this poor owl.
