I was also very astonished to be able to make this observation. Although it has been some time that I go back to this wood and rivlet, I never was able to approach the stork before. However I had seen them three times before - from very far - at different places in the same surroundings. I consider going back to this place with a hide early in the morning and see if they come back ... even if the stork don't come, chnaces are I'll have a heron get close enough for a nice picture, some time ago I saw 7 herons some 200m from the point I spotted the storks.

The noise is really a pitty, I agree )-: It comes from the 800iso and pushing (exposed -1/3 IL) ... I guess a 400mm 2,8 would be the solution ;-)
