Thanks for stopping by to write such complimentary words about my Monarch photo! I was very surprised to see him come by. I found a site that gave the expected date ranges for seeing Monarchs on their journey south. They were predicting that Sept. 20 was the end of the range for Connecticut. So, I guess that he was expected about when I saw him.
