Thanks very much for your critique and kind comments. In the shot that I cropped, the dragonfly was set back quite a bit. But, it seemed to be sharp enough to permit me to crop it fairly closely, so that I could present the head and other central features up close.

Yes, it's interesting living in Mystic. We could have decided to live in Groton, or one of the many other surrounding municipalities -- actually, our town services all come from Groton, which is quite a bit larger than Mystic. But, it's nice having a little commute, so that one isn't spending all of one's time in the same place. Mystic Pizza, by the way, is only two miles from our house. We go there frequently. The Mystic Seaport (a maritime museum, based on a recreated 19th century coastal village), the Mystic Aquarium, downtown Mystic and the Olde Mistick Village (a small shopping area, with an early American theme) are some of the local attractions.
