Thanks for your comments. Yes, my rock was a bit wider;o) It is amazing how much a long lense and some cropping can change. I am usually standing well above these birds on a coastal path or few meters on the safe side of the cliff edge. The cliff formation is shaped both in vertical and horisontal directions like wawes.
