I know it "ain't" sharp and almost didn't post it, but I like it for the same reasons you stated. We are going to use it as the inspiration photo at my painting group today. Maybe it will have a second life?! My priorities are probably a little skewed. I judge first on composition, then light/value, then color, then technique.... and apparently it shows! : )
I just went to get a new prescription for glasses... "Oh my dear, New glasses aren't going to help! Eventually you will need surgery!"
WHAT!! No help!? I'm on that steep downward slope???? AGGGGGHH!
I suppose I can always count on you to tell me when images "ain't" sharp, huh? : ) Either that or do as you promised... take your glasses OFF when critiquing my images. : )
